I kept my promise! I took several bags of trash to the "burn pile" and burned it. I also have about 12 large bags of stuff to go to Hannah Home. Now I can start preparing to repair each room in my home, room by room. I am going to start with my son's bathroom.
I will post some pictures later!

Making progress......
I started mt "to do" list last night. It is 4 pages long. I looked at all the projects and the ones that I had what I needed to complete on hand I marked with a check. If I can carve out some time in my day, for a few days in a row, I could have 50% of my remodel done. That tells you how much stuff is stored in my basement for future projects. Right now there is a bathroom vanity in my living room that I put together 1 year ago (I'm sooo embarrassed).
I have to work tonight but tomorrow will be the beginning of a change to come over our home. Projects will start to be completed and clutter will be going to Hannah home. I feel better already!

Have you ever had a day where......
Have you ever had a day where it seemed like you couldn't get anything accomplished? Well, today was one of those days for me. My daily dose of gumption was skipped and replaced with laziness! Gah, I hate days like this! There is so much that needs to be done! Perhaps there is so much to be done that I am too overwhelmed to know where to begin! Hmmmmmm, that sounds better than "Her lazybone is definitely over developed".
I will create a list of everything that needs to be done to my home and everything I want to do to my home. I will make it a point to strive to cross items off this list at least weekly. If I can cross off an item a week, I should be done with my remodel in April of 2019! Perhaps if I get going, I will be inspired to pick up the pace and finish a little sooner!
Have a great day!

Random thought......
I am an incurable insomniac. It seems that whenever I lay down for the night all heck breaks loose in my mind. I can think of 40 different things I want to do to change our bathroom. Did I remember to feed the dog? Did I put detergent in the dishwasher before I turned it on? Was my meeting scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 or 11:30? I am sure that there are several million others out there that do the same thing. We are so busy running the rat race that we don't allow our minds to shut down long enough to relax and get a good nights sleep!
I am hoping that this blog helps me to express some of my creativity and ideas as well as connect with others in the same boat with the same or similar interests. I get a lot of inspiration from listening to others and reading blogs (some of my favorites are listed on this page).
Tomorrow my goal is to upload some pictures of my son's bathroom as it is now.....right smack dab in the middle of remodel chaos. Perhaps making the picture public will give me the gumption to move forward and get it done!
Goodnight my fellow bloggers! Sweet dreams!
